What’s been announced
Zamperla has confirmed that Lotte World Adventure Busan (South Korea) will open the first installation of its new Double Heart launch coaster, targeted for late 2026.
The Double Heart uses a triple swing launch — forward, backwards, then forward again — to send a single train up and over a 50m (164ft) tower. From the top it drops into what Zamperla describes as “extreme airtime before twisting and diving straight towards the ground,” then threads two further inversions before returning to the station. Despite the height, the footprint is compact. The ride will reach a top speed of 110km/h (68mph). The coaster will have a minimum height restriction of 120cm (48 inches).
Coaster manufacturer Zamperla is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
