Harry Potter Land Coming to Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi’s Harry Potter themed land was confirmed by Miral back in November 2022 but since then few details have emerged. However, the park’s website is now teasing a new announcement about the project set to be revealed on 7th September, 2026.

The teaser also went out through the official Harry Potter Instagram account as part of the brand’s Back to Hogwarts Showcase.

What’s actually confirmed

Miral and Warner Bros. Discovery announced the land on 10 November 2022, describing it as the Middle East’s first Harry Potter-themed land and a “spell binding first to the Middle East and the world,” in the words of Miral chairman Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak. The Potter project will expand on Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi’s existing six immersive lands – Warner Bros. Plaza, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch, Cartoon Junction, Gotham City and Metropolis – with a new zone featuring Hogwarts Castle, Diagon Alley and the Forbidden Forest.

What to expect

Apart from what’s been covered above, we don’t have any more official information. Miral has not given an opening date.

A recent post on the official Harry Potter Instagram possibly hinted at a ride featuring the Weasleys’ flying car.
