Toy Story Land Opening Date

Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is set to open June 30th, 2018. The 11-acre land has been designed to give guests the feeling that they have shrunk to the size of toys.

The land will have two attractions, Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers.  Slinky Dog Dash will be a family style rollercoaster. Guests will ride with Slinky in and out of various set pieces designed to look like building block and various other types of toys. The coaster will also pass by some of the famous characters from the Toy Story films.

The Alien Swirling Saucers attraction will use the same ride system as Maters Junkyard Jamboree in Cars Land at Disney’s California Adventure. Unlike Maters Junkyard Jamboree, the Swirling Saucers will be built under a cover to ensure that it can still operate during the famous and commonplace Florida storms. 

A new counter service restaurant themed to Woody has also been built in this land. Disney have also built a new entrance to Toy Story Mania. Guests will now enter Toy Story Mania from within Toy Story Land.
