Paultons Park Guide

Our Paultons Park Guide will help you plan your visit to the park.

Paultons Park is, in our opinion, the best family theme park in the UK. It’s not hard to have a great day there, but we hope this guide will guarantee you a good and easy visit!

Location

Paultons Park is located in the New Forest National Park in England, near the coastal city of Southampton. The park is easy to reach with it being located just off exit 2 of the M27. The park is also only a 15 minute taxi ride from both Southampton Central and Southampton Airport Parkway train stations.

Time needed at Paultons Park

Paultons Park is a full day park. However, unlike some of the larger parks in the UK, we would not recommend that you plan on visiting the park for more than a day even if you are taking your first trip to the park.

Attractions at Paultons Park

Cobra Paultons Park

The park covers 140 acres of land and is home to over 70 rides and attractions. In Addition to the rides, the park is also home to a collection of 80 species of birds and animals. The park is split into five themed worlds; Peppa Pig World, Tornado Springs, Lost Kingdom, Critter Creek and Little Africa. Peppa Pig World is one of the best children’s areas in any theme park world over. Newer areas like the Lost Kingdom and Tornado Springs are highly themed and home to a variety of attractions suitable for the whole family. The park mainly caters for families with young children but there is a log flume, a variety of flat rides and three coasters that will provide a level of thrill to older children and adults.

Top 3 coasters at Paultons Park

3. Cobra (Gerstlauer Bobsled)

FastPass

Fast Track at Paultons Park is only available to purchase as part of a VIP package. Prices for a VIP package start at £210 per person. Don’t let this put you off, other than Peppa Pig World the park rarely gets too busy.

Food at Paultons Park

Paultons Park offers a good selection of dining options, both restaurants and takeaways.

Traditional breakfasts, hearty burgers, tasty fish & chips, perfect pizzas, pasta, brimming burritos, loaded fries, Mediterranean chicken, deep filled sandwiches, fresh fruit and vegetables, potato crisps, delicious ice cream, fresh pastries, ice cold drinks, a selection of teas, bean to cup ground coffee and a whole lot more are sold at various locations in the park.

Our personal favourite dining option for both breakfast and lunch is the Route 83 Diner located within Tornado Springs. This Diner tries to recreate the feeling of a classic American diner and deliver the comfort food found at such a spot.
