10 houses at Halloween Horror Nights 28
For the first time ever, there will be 10 houses at Halloween Horror Nights this year in Orlando. This is one more house than the 9 houses that were built for last years event. The addition of an extra house at this years event is another indication at how horror nights is continuing to grow in popularity. Universal have already announced three houses for this years event. These three houses are Stranger Things, Trick r Treat and Dead Exposure: Patient Zero. Rumours online suggest that the other houses at this years event could be based on popular properties such as Halloween, The Thing, Nightmare on Elm Street and IT.
Universal have also confirmed that this years Halloween Horror Nights event will have an 80’s theme. They also confirmed that the popular Academy of Villains show will be returning.
Finally, Universal announced that there will be five scarezones at this years event. They have released details on three of these scarezones. These three scarezones are called The Harvest, Twisted Tradition and Vamp 85. The Vamp 85 scarezone is a sequel to the popular Vamp 55 scarezone from Halloween Horror Nights 26.
