HHN 28- Lets get excited!
Houses at HHN 28…
Stranger Things
With the demogorgon lurking around every corner, there will be nowhere safe to hide in this house at HHN 28. But don’t worry, the familiar locations of the Byers house and Hawkins High School should provide at least a little bit of comfort for frightened fans.
Carnival Graveyard
Classic carnival offerings are twisted as the tunnel of love becomes less about love and more about, well…pure horror. From what we’ve heard, this house feels inescapabley long, so prepare for endless fear and a little bit of fun.
Scary Tales
A classic story returns to Halloween Horror Nights, but this time it’s worse than ever. The villains are worse and even the usually good characters represent something straight out of a nightmare. No one is to be trusted in this house, not even a princess, which should make for a fun and twisted house.
Poltergeist
Think classic 80s come to life. Some of the most memorable and terrifying scenes of the decade will come to life in this house. We’re definitely most excited to see those familiar scenes recreated. Expect a very scary experience.
Blum House
Seemingly no ones favourite announcement, but don’t let that put you off. Whilst the Purge has always worked better as a scare zone, the property still has much to offer with its awesome masks and violent scares. Happy Death Day should add a bit of fun, with its likely repetitive scares and that overplayed ring tone from the film.
Slaughter Sinema
One of our personal most anticipated houses due to its varied offerings of unique and creative ideas. Expect the weirdest things possible with this house.
Dead Exposure
Likely to be a dark and scary house, but don’t believe that’s where it ends. With an 80s Paris theme, this house should definitely provide some immersive settings amongst the darkness.
Seeds of Extinction
Plants might not be the first thing that you think of when someone mentions the word horror, but don’t let that put you off. We believe this house will likely be one of the most terrifying at the event, think man eating plants that have become far too overgrown.
Trick r Treat
A favourite from last year returns, but this time it gets its own house. This should allow us to become even more immersed in the story and maybe even meet some more characters, not to mention visiting new settings.
Halloween 4
Dr Loomis and Micheal Myers return, with new kills and more frantic searching from Loomis than ever before. Micheal must be stopped…but good luck avoiding him at HHN 28.
Scare Zones at HHN 28…
The Harvest
An opportunity for fans to see props from all their favourite of this years houses out in the streets. Blum House, Halloween 4, Poltergeist, Trick R Treat and Stranger Things props line the walls of this barn as creatures lurk alongside these various recognisable props.
Vamp 85
Think an 80s costume party, but with vampires. Oh and it’s New Year’s Eve…but the bands dead so classic hits will just have to boom out the speakers instead. This zone should be a non stop party.
Killer Klowns
If you’re familiar with the movie, then you’re probably already excited. But if not then read on. Cotton candy cocoons, carnival music and giant clowns will flood the street, giving you just as much laughter as terror at HHN 28.
Twisted Traditions
Classic Halloween with a twist. The folks of Carey, Ohio are being hunted by an ancient evil. If Halloween decorations and pumpkins are you’re thing, then this zone is for you.
Chucky
Who doesn’t want to be insulted by the legend himself, we certainly do. But don’t worry, if you’re softer skinned I’m sure some of the other toys will be more you’re taste.
Show at HHN 28…
Academy of Villains
The much popular dance act return and this year at HHN 28 it’s set to be bigger and better than ever. While Bill and Ted may be gone, they’ve graciously given their stage to the Academy of Villains, who will hopefully put it to good use.
If all this isn’t enough, then how about some waffles? On a stick? With ice cream? Or both? Well, you can have it all on Friday. If that’s not enough to be excited about, then I don’t know what is.
