1. Two Major Sea World Coasters to close for refurbishment
According to popular news site “Screamscape”, Sea World Orlando is set to close two of its major coasters in the coming weeks. Manta will close on October 18th and will remain shut until November 28th. Kraken will close on November 29th and will stay closed through to January 3rd 2022. They also reported that “The Sea Lion & Otter Stadium” will be closing for refurbishment from October 18th to October 28th.
2. More entertainment returning to Hollywood Studios
Indiana Jones: Epic Stunt Spectacular Show, the iconic show at Hollywood Studios, is set to return on December 19th for the first time since the park closed because of the pandemic. On November 7th, the Disney Movie Magic night-time show, the Disney Junior kids show and Red Carpet Dreams will return.
3. Sky Loop to open in Saudi Arabia
A Premier Rides Sky Rocket II is being built for the 2021 Riyadh Winter Wonderland in Saudi Arabia. This Sky Loop is set to be the world’s first mobile Sky Loop. It’s currently unknown as to how big this coaster will be but it seems highly likely that it could break several records for a mobile coaster.
4. Peppa Pig Theme Park opening date announced
Legoland Florida have announced that the resorts second gate, the Peppa Pig Theme Park, will open on February 24th, 2022. Tickets for the park can now be bought online here.
5. Europa Park to stay open between Halloween and Christmas
For the first time, Europa Park will stay open between the end of the parks Halloween event and the start of the Winter season. During this period, Europa Park has said that the park will offer a hybrid experience, a mixture of both Halloween and Christmas. ‘HalloWinter’ will run from November 8th to the 26th. The park will be open daily from 11am to 7pm.
