The Magic of Paint The Night & The Main Street Electrical Parade: A Glowing History

Disney has a long and storied tradition of dazzling nighttime parades, starting with the beloved Main Street Electrical Parade, which debuted at Disneyland in 1972. This parade set a new standard for theme park entertainment and is largely responsible for the creation of Paint The Night. But, this now iconic parade was actually preceded by another electrical light show – one which is still on parade today.
