The History of Hyde Park Winter Wonderland

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is one of London’s most iconic Christmas events, bringing festive cheer to millions of visitors each year. The event, which began in 2005, has grown into a sprawling winter festival that is a staple of many people’s Christmas traditions. For some, this packed event is to be avoided at all costs, but as theme park fans we’re never ones to be put off by a crowd and always love a visit to this temporary fairground come Christmas market. Our visit this year got us wondering about the origins of this massive event, so we thought we’d dedicate a video to the history of Hyde Park Winter Wonderland.
