The Best Years In UK Theme Park History

What is the best year in UK theme park history? For you, it might well be the year you first became an enthusiast. Or it could be the year you had a season pass to all the major parks. Or, it could even be one of those years we had freakishly good weather throughout most of the theme park season. But what we are here to talk about, are the years that boast the best collections of new attractions. Now, many years might stand out in your mind for the opening of one specific roller coaster, for example there’s 2012 and The Swarm or 2013 and The Smiler. As great as these years were for the simple fact that they brought us these major new additions, they don’t quite make the cut. Just one new major attraction alone isn’t enough, for a year to stand out there has to be more going on across a variety of the UK’s parks. So, here are the five years we consider to be the best in UK theme park history.
