Parque Warner Madrid Guide

Our Parque Warner Madrid guide will help you plan your visit to the park.

Parque Warner Madrid opened on April 6th 2002. In its first two years, the park was operated by Six Flags who owned 5% of the park. Two years later Six Flags sold off all its interest in European parks.

Location

Parque Warner Madrid is located in Madrid, Spain. The park is 23 kilometres from the centre. By car, this journey takes roughly 25 minutes. You can take a train from anywhere in Madrid and get off at the Pinto stop (line C-3). From there you should take the 413 bus from “La Veloz” which drops off at the entrance of the park. You can also take the 412 bus from “La Veloz” at the Villaverde Bajo interchange. The park itself is divided into 6 areas: DC Super Heroes World, Hollywood Boulevard, Movie World Studios, Old West Territory and Cartoon Village.

Time needed at Parque Warner Madrid

Parque Warner Madrid is a full day park. We wouldn’t recommend that you spend more than a day at the park, but to get the most out of your visit you should plan on spending a full day at the park.

Attractions at Parque Warner Madrid

The park has a total of 43 attractions including 7 roller coasters. The biggest and best coasters at the park are Batman: Arkham Asylum, a B & M inverted coaster identical to the Batman: The Ride coasters found at Six Flags across the United States and Superman: La Atraccion de Acero, the first B & M floorless coaster to be built in Europe. Best of all is the brand new coaster Batman: Gotham City Escape. As well as coasters, the park has a variety of flat rides, water rides and a Scooby-Doo themed interactive dark ride. The park has a lot to offer people of all ages, from the selection of child friendly rides mostly found in Cartoon Village, to  the more thrilling coasters and flat rides spread throughout the park.

Parque Warner Madrid also operates a year round horror maze based on the hit film series, The Conjuring. The Conjuring House at Parque Warner Madrid is officially named ‘Expedientes Warren – The Conjuring Universe Pasadena Del Terror’. The experience operates all year round and costs an additional 5 euros on top of park admission. Food at Parque Warner Madrid

Parque Warner offers a variety of different dining options from American style fast food options to a Mediterranean style character buffet. Like much of the park, the majority of the dining locations are heavily themed. Some of our favourites for theming are the Gotham City Grill, El Coyote Solitario Saloon (A Western Saloon) and the Cartoon Café.

Events at Parque Warner Madrid

Month of Super Heroes VS Super Villains DC– This event usually runs every Saturday and Sunday from mid-May to mid-June. The Month of Superheroes allows you the opportunity to meet some of your favourite characters including Batman, The Joker and Wonder Woman. These meet and greets do also happen outside of this event, but occur less frequently throughout the day.

Halloween-  Throughout October the park operates a Halloween event which offers something for all audiences. The park operates several horror houses, including one designed for young children. A Halloween themed show also takes place in the Hollywood Theatre and additional Halloween themed street entertainment occurs sporadically through the park during the Halloween season.

Christmas– This event usually takes place from the first weekend of December to the first week of January. The park is impressively decorated during this event. At the event, children can meet Santa and take a journey through a magical Christmas trail. You can also get your photo taken with the Three Wise Men on Hollywood Boulevard.

Hotels near Parque Warner Madrid

The park does not have an on-site hotel. However, there are many hotels located within a few miles of the park. In our opinion, the best place to stay is in the Madrid City Centre as that is where you will find the greatest selection of accommodation.

Stuff to do nearby

Located next to the theme park is Parque Warner Beach, a large, outdoor water park. Also located in Madrid is a second theme park, Parque de Atracciones de Madrid. If you are planning on visiting the park you must also spend a day exploring the city of Madrid. Madrid is the capital and largest city in Spain.
