This year’s D23 Expo, now just called D23, is fast approaching so naturally speculation is starting to grow regarding what new projects may be announced for the future of the Disney parks. Now before I go any further, I must address the elephant in the room. That being that the park related announcements at the last D23 expo were very underwhelming. Not only this, but Disney also has the tendency to announce projects at the event and later cancel them for various reasons. However, going into this year’s event I am more optimistic than ever that we will see some huge announcements related to new lands and attractions coming to Disney parks over the next few years. And I think this time they will actually get built. Therefore, I want to take a look at what could possibly be announced at the event while also indulging in a few of my own Disney park fantasies that may or may not become reality.
