Blackpool Pleasure Beach Dining Review

Having recently visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach for the first time in a few years, I had pre disposed ideas of the dining options available. Whilst there is of course, a vast selection of typical theme park food such as chips, burgers, ice creams and doughnuts etc. , I was pleasantly surprised to find some interesting alternatives.

Being situated on the seafront, it was nice to see several Oyster and champagne bars all looking very appealing. These are certainly not the type of food options I expected to find in the park . As we were there on such a beautiful sunny day, we opted for Coasters bar and restaurant as it has an outside dining patio. Another plus point to this restaurant is the fact that it overlooks the new ride Icon. The restaurant and bar were very welcoming, with friendly staff and an interesting Mexican style menu. We were greeted at the door with menus and invited to sit where we liked, as it was quiet, and told to order food at the bar . The menu offered options such as fajitas, burritos, chilli bowls etc. , all of which had vegetarian options as well . A children’s menu was also available.

The food and full bar were of a good standard with good service. The restaurant offered a very welcome and relaxing break from the intensity of the theme park. Overall, I would highly recommend this dining option to all. Even if Mexican food isn’t really you’re thing, don’t worry! The restaurant offers a few less adventurous options e.g. Mac N Cheese, Jacket potato and beef or vegetable lasagna.
