AI Art in Theme Parks: Innovative or Inappropriate?

Over the past year or so many theme parks have been caught out with what has become a big no-no by art lovers everywhere- that is they have been utilising AI art. Developments in Ai technology are being achieved at such a rapid rate, that it’s hard to keep up. Almost every industry is being affected by this in some way, and as already mentioned, theme parks are by no means an exception.

In recent years, the creative industries have seen a growing trend toward automation, with AI algorithms replacing traditional jobs in areas like illustration, design, and even writing. To hone in on the topic at hand, theme parks have been caught out using AI art in promotions, concepts and even the parks themselves. So, why exactly is this such a big issue?
